Translation service

I grew up multi-lingual in a Swiss-Canadian family with strong roots in both cultures. My schooling was French immersion (half English, half French), my Saturday mornings spent in German school, and Swiss German was spoken at home. I picked up Spanish for fun.

I translated many technical papers from German to English for the literature review of my Master's thesis (extensive green roofs evolved in Germany, after all!). For the World Green Roof Congress (Basel 2005) I translated all the abstracts and keynotes for the proceedings; English-German and vice versa.

I'm happy to provide copy-editing support for German-speakers on your English papers, and am equipped for German - English translations.  I can draw from a network of experienced colleagues to assist with terminology, technical elements and proofing, if needed.
